Cakes we made over the years since for Butter and Sugar. If you do not know yet, Butter and Sugar is owned by husband and wife, Joan & Francesco. Though Francesco’s been baking with his dad in Sicily since he was 12, Joan baked and made her first frosting in the summer of 2017. Brave move, her first cupcake is red velvet!

Cakes we made over the years since for Butter and Sugar. If you do not know yet, Butter and Sugar is owned by husband and wife, Joan & Francesco. Though Francesco’s been baking with his dad in Sicily since he was 12, Joan baked and made her first frosting in the summer of 2017. Brave move, her first cupcake is red velvet!

One of my all-time favorite desserts from back home 🥰 Every school break, my dad would drive us from Manila to Bicol, and we never missed a stop in Laguna for their famous buko pie. We were Team Collette’s for years—until my brother introduced The Original’s, and that was it. New favorite unlocked! 🥧💛

Missing my favorite while here in the US inspired me to make my own buko pie—one that brings me right back home with every bite. 🇵🇭✨

2 years ago, we paused our operations to devote our time to family. In 2 years, we had a baby (now a toddler) and moved to a new home in a new city, still in UT but different county. Farther from friends and our loyal customers. Few weeks ago, we decided to hit the unpause button and offered our products to our new neighborhood. Today, we made our 1st delivery after 2 years! I’d say, our first weekend back is a success! 4 dozens of cinnamon rolls, 7 coconut pie and 2 egg pie! It was an all day baking kind of day but it was fun!
